User Friendly CMS

Content Management Systems (CMS) vary greatly in both cost and functionality. There are numerous free / open

source CMS', off-the-shelf CMS' and bespoke CMS'.

Open source CMS' may offer free code, but there is still a cost involved in making that code work with a website. Additionally you have to work within the constraints of the existing code and continue programming additions in potentially an inefficient or poor way. For this reason DUSZA never use such code.

Off-the-shelf CMS' generally offer more flexibility but will retain some inherent constraints. Many off-the shelf CMS' are out of date before they are released because technology moves at such a rapid pace. An example of this is Search Engine compatibility and optimisation.

Search Engines continually refine their algorithms in order to present ever more relevant Search results. A CMS that was built 12 months ago is likely to have a deficit of compatibility in some areas. Furthermore, we have established from our own experience, that the companies who build off-the-shelf CMS' must sell multiple units in order to recoup the initial investment. This can lead to an off-the-shelf CMS being sold even when the technology it is based upon is antiquated or simply not right for that business.

These types of CMS can also come with limitations to what they can handle and how they can be integrated into a website. They also still require the programmer to work within their programming framework, so inevitably the true cost of a CMS is really £CMS + £Progammer to implement.

So what kind of CMS do Dusza have?

The best kind. Bespoke CMS' are the only type of CMS you will find at Dusza. Our approach is a vastly different approach to building CMS' than the above.

We have developed our own hand-coded code library from which we build each CMS as an individual unit tailored to the exacting needs of our clients.We continuously improve our library and when new technology emerges we integrate only the elements that have true commercial value. These have recently included extensive Usability and Accessibility Modules, Advanced Search Engine Marketing Modules, Comprehensive Individual User Tracking Modules and Intelligent Product Push Ecommerce Engines to name just a few.

The only blueprint we follow when considering the functionality of any CMS is what brings the best return on investment for the Client coupled simply with what the client wants. This approach has helped achieve a real transparent working relationship with our client base which hopefully will bring return custom for other web and print orientated projects. Our CMS' are a flat one-off fee for a lifetime license and because they are built modularly can be extended with ease.

As much effort goes into the usability and intuitiveness of our CMS' as the public facing website.We combine technologies such as PHP, MySQL, Ajax, Javascript and Flash to create hybrid ecommerce websites that utilise the very slickest of technologies.

Our bespoke CMS' can be built so that you can maintain, in-house, all the management of your ecommerce or if budgets are more restrictive only core sections that update frequently can be Content Managed.

CMS Training

Once your website goes onto the demo area Dusza will arrange a free Training Session.We will ask you to inform us which members of staff will be required to use the CMS and then arrange a convenient time for a member of Dusza staff to train your staff over two, one hour telephone training sessions.

Alternatively you can choose for them to attend the Dusza offices for the two hour training session at no extra cost. Dusza are also able to attend your premises and train members of staff on using the CMS but additional costs for Dusza staff and expenses are incurred.

If required, new members of staff can also be trained by Dusza at a future date and an estimate can be provided for this additional training on an as and when basis.

Our CMS' are intuitive and really are very easy to use, we have found that our clients rarely require more than only a single hours training session, but if you are concerned with technical ability and would prefer, Dusza can maintain your ecommerce for you with an on-going consultancy contract per month so that you have the experts on hand when ever you need them!
