NAPTR - DNS Record

(Naming Authority Pointer). Allows regular expression based rewriting of domain names which can then be used as URIs, further domain names to lookups, etc.
NAPTR pointers provide a general, flexible, extensible, and standard mechanism to pass new kinds of information. In most cases the information retrieved via a NAPTR is a URI or URN, but it can also be another domain name.
